Your duties
- Development of software for packaging machines & system integration.
- Skill Required (Must Have):
- PLC programming
Servo/motion programming
HMI programming
- Technical documentation for customer orders as per ISO & CE requirements
- Technical co-ordination and cross functional support on customer project topics.
- Co-ordination with Center of Competence for software configuration and new module developments
- Visit to customer sites for new projects, troubleshooting etc.
- Cost reduction measures in the machines. Preparation and attending internal / external audits.
- Participation in functional and cross functional Continuous improvement initiatives
Your profile
- B.E. in Electronics/ Electrical/ Instrumentation having 8+ years experience in Software development for automated machines
- Domain of Packaging Machines / Special Purpose Machines
- Sound knowledge of PLC and HMI programming for Allen Bradley, Beckhoff
- Programming skills in languages, for example Ladder, STL.
- Software tools Rockwell Studio 5000, Factory talk, Twincat
- Hardware : Allen Bradley, Beckhoff
- Knowledge in SAP & EPLAN is desired.
- Knowledge of SCADA and data acquisition systems is desirable.
- Problem solving skills to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner, including gathering and analyzing information, developing alternative solutions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including presentation skills
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to successfully handle a multi-tasked role.
- Self-motivated, sense of urgency and well organized. Willingness to travel
- Must have at least 8+ years experience in software development of automated machinery.
