Your duties
- Designing control circuits for specific machines / applications
- Preparing wiring diagrams
- Preparation of Bill of Materials for customer projects
- PLC and HMI programming for machines and integration of systems
- Technical documentation for customer orders as per ISO & CE requirements
- Technical co-ordination and cross functional support on customer project topics.
- Co-ordination with CoC s for software configuration and new module developments
- Visit to customer sites for new projects, troubleshooting etc.
- Cost reduction measures in the machines. Preparation and attending internal / external audits.
- Participation in functional and cross functional Continuous improvement initiatives
Your profile
- B.E. in Electronics/ Electrical/ Instrumentation having 8+ years experience in design and Control Systems
- Domain of Packaging Machines / Special Purpose Machines
- Sound knowledge of PLC and HMI programming for Allen Bradley, Beckhoff, Siemens.
- Programming skills in languages, for example Ladder, STL.
- Software tools Rockwell Studio 5000, Factory talk, Twincat, TIA Portal.
- Hardware Compact logix, Beckhoff CX/CP series, S7-1200.
- Knowledge in SAP & EPLAN is desired.
- Knowledge of SCADA and data acquisition systems is desirable.
- Problem solving skills to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner, including gathering and analyzing information, developing alternative solutions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including presentation skills
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to successfully handle a multi-tasked role.
- Self-motivated, sense of urgency and well organized. Willingness to travel
- Must have at least 3+ years experience in design and development of automated machinery.
- Development of software tools & applications for Human Machine interface.
- C# - Experience, .Net Framework (Windows Forms, WPF)
- Database, SQL
- Technical documentation for new development as per ISO & CE requirements.
- Technical co-ordination and cross-functional support for new development.
- Visit customer sites for new projects, troubleshooting etc.
- Experience working with automated equipment in the food or packaging industry is preferred.
- Proven proficiency in the design and development of successful commercial products.
- SAP and other data management tools.
- An innovative person who is goal oriented, well organized and highly motivated.
- Good communication skill (both written and oral) with good inter personal skills and excellent analytical skills
- Knowledge in xls programming / Power bi / Presentations.
