Job Description
Business Partnership & Workforce Planning
- Partner with operations leadership to understand manpower requirements across shifts and roles.
- Support planning and deployment of workforce to ensure seamless operations.
- Align HR practices with business KPIs such as attendance, attrition, productivity, and manpower cost.
- Talent Acquisition (Blue-Collar Focus)
- Drive end-to-end blue-collar hiring through multiple channels (vendors, referrals, local sourcing).
- Ensure timely onboarding and induction for new associates.
- Maintain an active pipeline to manage peak season requirements.
- HR Operations & Payroll
- Oversee attendance management, payroll inputs, and leave administration.
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness in HR operations, MIS, and dashboards.
- Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with audit requirements.
- Statutory Compliance
- Ensure adherence to all labor laws and statutory compliances at the site (PF, ESIC, CLRA, Shops & Establishment, etc.).
- Liaise with local authorities and manage inspections/documentation.
- Employee Engagement & Communication
Implement engagement initiatives to boost morale, motivation, and retention among blue-collar employees.
- Drive communication forums like town halls, skip meetings, and feedback sessions.
- Build strong rapport with associates and supervisors to maintain workplace harmony.
- Industrial Relations (IR) & Grievance Management
- Manage employee grievances effectively, ensuring timely resolution and preventive measures.
Handle union-related matters with maturity and ensure peaceful IR climate.
- Support disciplinary actions and inquiries as required.
- HR Analytics & Reporting
- Track key HR metrics including headcount, attrition, attendance, productivity, and engagement.
- Prepare and present periodic dashboards, MIS, and review reports for management.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of warehouse, logistics, and last-mile delivery operations.
- In-depth understanding of blue-collar workforce dynamics.
- Hands-on experience in IR and statutory compliance.
- Excellent communication, empathy, and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail in HR reporting and metrics.
- Ability to influence and build trust with associates and business leaders alike.

Qualification & Experience
- Education: MBA / PGDM in HR or equivalent.
- Experience: 610 years of HR experience with at least 3 years in an operations-heavy, blue-collar environment (warehousing / logistics / manufacturing / e-commerce).
- Language: Proficiency in English, Hindi, and Marathi preferred.
