Minimum qualification: Post-Graduate in Taxation
Minimum experience required:10-12 years
Key responsibilities shall include:
- To support the Taxation division in advancing tax policy advocacy and stakeholder engagement by assisting the organisation in tax-related events and initiatives.
- Actively networking and engaging with members to facilitate participation and secure sponsorships for the division.
- Contributing to policy research and analysis, and preparing industry-focused submissions and representations on taxation matters for effective engagement with government and regulatory authorities.
- To assist the Taxation division in planning and conducting events, engaging with members for sponsorship and participation, and developing agendas for proposed programmes and initiatives.
- Support the preparation of pre-Budget and post-Budget submissions, draft notes in relation to survey questionnaires, and contribute ideas and recommendations on emerging issues and initiatives in the tax space, based on issues and inputs received from members.
- Analysis of direct tax, GST, and customs-related matters, identification of challenges faced by industry, preparation of draft notes, technical papers, and representations for submission before the relevant authorities, and active engagement with prospective stakeholders to facilitate addition of new members to the organisation.
