Overview

Accelerate PepsiCo business growth and efficiency by leading the S&T insights team supporting KSA, Gulf, Levant markets responsible for:

  • Business Intelligence (creating/updating dashboards, delivering periodic and on-demand performance reviews, and addressing ad-hoc requests based on internal and external data sources)
  • Advanced Analytics (deployment, scaling, development, and enhancement of statistical models to address key business questions: (market structure, innovation forecasting, drivers analyses, category growth forecasts, etc.) and
  • Data Governance & Asset Management (vendor management for external/syndicated data external syndicated data quality, delivery, organization, and accessibility asset tagging & hosting and managing tools and assets, including digital assets - e.g. graphics database, etc.)

Responsibilities

  • Play the role of gatekeeper of all PepsiCo KSA, Gulf, Levant markets (Internal & external ) data, leading the agenda with key suppliers and maintaining alignment among Global and Local needs for that subject.
  • Ensure that all PepsiCo's market data is reliable in terms of quality and timing.
  • Lead the Market analysis for each BU, category and brand across sector, answering main key business questions with data visualization, reporting and descriptive analysis.
  • Lead and develop visualization capability across sector and categories enhancing report automation and interactive dashboards generation across sector and categories
  • Automated and enhanced visualization capability across sector evolving from static reports in excel to interactive dashboards on Tableau software
  • Lead annual negotiation process with Nielsen, Global Data, Kantar across BU for Beverage categories
  • Lead the integration and recommendation of holistic solutions to key business questions based on market dynamics, macroeconomic situation and consumer trends to develop strategies for the channel to help grow the business.
  • Influence with insights and added value the AOP / SBP Channels processes helping them to build their strategies with data that validates the relevance of initiatives for our business commercial partners and Shoppers.
  • Manage and optimize Business Intelligence budget seeking synergies between channels, categories across sector to determine the optimal use of the resources allocated to insights
  • Lead a Business Intelligence center of service to accelerate 'sharp pencil decision making strategies across KSA, Gulf, Levant markets
  • Leads support of the Strategy and Commercial Analytics teams on PGM (PepsiCo Growth Model) process though different sources of information Canedian/Global Data, EuroMonitor, Nielsen, among others.
  • Provide direction on BBE, ADA and Social Listening activities, as required
  • Leads support of the Marketing team with brand performance reporting

Qualifications

  • An experienced Insight or Analytics professional with experience in a leading consumer goods company. 15 years+ experience
  • Education: Masters in economics, statistics, marketing, business administration
  • Language: 100% English language proficiency both oral and written
  • Experience in developing and implementing successful projects with focus on results, to manage projects that impact business objectives.
  • Ability to manage problems from complex to simple
  • Strong communication and Story telling
  • Analytical thinking with proven ability to connect data & insights from Consumer, Shopper, and Analytics, as well as future forces of change, and deliver clear outlook scenarios along with implications for the business.
  • Proven influencing and perseverance skills to tailor recommendation to the needs of stakeholders and effectively engage them to obtain commitment and drive impact.
  • Proven ability to turn the complex into the simple, to cut through and focus on what really matters and tell simple story
  • Operates effectively in matrix relationships across organizational boundaries

Previous experience with Market Data suppliers (i.e. Nielsen) is required

Previous exposure with Directors and GMs
