As Deputy Director - Category Demand Management, you will play a critical role in overseeing and managing the demand forecasting and planning activities within the designated category.
With a required experience range of 6.0-10.0 years, you will be responsible for developing and executing demand management strategies to optimize inventory levels, improve forecast accuracy, and drive operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement demand forecasting models and methodologies to support business objectives.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Sales, Marketing, and Operations to gather market insights and enhance demand planning processes.- Monitor market trends, seasonal fluctuations, and customer demand patterns to anticipate future demand requirements.- Analyze historical sales data and performance metrics to identify demand drivers and improve forecasting accuracy.- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to streamline demand planning processes and enhance forecast reliability.- Communicate forecast updates, insights, and recommendations to senior management to support strategic decision-making.- Lead a team of demand planning professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to achieve departmental goals.
In this role, you will leverage your expertise in demand management, analytical skills, and strategic thinking to optimize category performance and drive business growth. Your ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, along with your proven track record in demand forecasting and planning, will be instrumental in achieving operational excellence and meeting customer requirements.
