Department Head - Metal Furniture

Experience: 36 years in Metal Furniture, Knowledge of furniture industry is must

Salary: Yearly CTC 6 LPA (Negotiable)

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage the entire metal furniture department.

Plan daily production schedules and assign work to welders, fitters, and machine operators.

Ensure quality of fabricated products as per drawings and standards.

Monitor production timelines and reduce delays/wastage.

Coordinate with design, purchase, and quality teams for smooth operations.

Maintain safety standards and ensure proper use of machines/tools.

Train and supervise manpower for better productivity.

Handle reporting, documentation, and daily production updates.

Development of New Product.

Manage & know all machine

Skills & Requirements

Strong knowledge of welding, cutting, bending, and fabrication processes.

Ability to read and understand technical drawings.

Good team-handling and problem-solving skills.

Basic computer knowledge (Excel, email, reporting).
