Job Description

Job Purpose

Plan, coordinate, organise & control plant maintenance, upgradation & project activities to provide effective & efficient Mechanical Engineering services to the company facilities so as to ensure optimum availability & improved efficiency of the plant at minimum cost and high standard of safety, hygiene and environment by maintaining good team spirit, morale & motivation.

Roles & Responsibilities

1. Plan, organize & control mechanicalmaintenance activities for all the plants as per maintenance plan & achieve maximum availability of the plant.

2. Plan, coordinate & preparation ofmaintenance budget for Mechanical Department for targeted level of plant utilization through CVA/VDA achieving cost & capacity objectives.

3. Plan, coordinate & preparation ofmaintenance budget for Mechanical Department for targeted level of plant utilization through CVA/VDA achieving cost & capacity objectives. Mechanical Engineering aspects withconfirmation to schedule engineering specification within the scheduled time & budget.

4. Supervise & monitor quality systems(ISO, EMS, WCM, OHSAS, ICSA) in the Department through the involvement of people for improving plant performance as per quality/ environmental standards & internal customer satisfaction

5. Ensure implementation ofenvironment & safety system & procedure and adherence to statutory compliances to maintain safe & accident free work place.

6. Build & sustain a congenial workculture by effective management of people to improve productivity, growth & motivation levels of employees to institutionalise best organizing practices in the unit.
