Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Demi Chef De Partie or Chef De Partie specializing in Bakery and Pastry at The LaLiT Suri Hospitality Group in Kasaragod. The role involves preparing a wide variety of baked goods, desserts, and pastries; managing the assigned kitchen station; ensuring food quality and compliance with health and hygiene standards; and collaborating with other team members to innovate and maintain a high standard of culinary excellence. Additional responsibilities include menu planning, inventory management, and maintaining cleanliness and organization in the bakery section.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in creating baked products such as bread, pastries, cakes, and desserts
- Strong understanding of food preparation processes and kitchen operations
- Knowledge of food hygiene, safety standards, and sanitation regulations
- Ability to work as part of a team collaboratively and assist in training junior staff
- Attention to detail, creativity, and a passion for the culinary arts
- Formal culinary training or certification in Bakery and Pastry Arts is preferred
- Relevant experience in a bakery or pastry role within the hospitality industry
