Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Goa, India, for a Demi Chef De Partie specializing in Indian cuisine. The Demi Chef De Partie will assist the Head Chef in daily kitchen operations, including the preparation and presentation of Indian dishes, managing kitchen staff, maintaining hygiene standards, and ensuring all food is prepared to the highest quality. Responsibilities also include inventory management, ordering supplies, and supporting the development of new menu items with a focus on seasonal and sustainable ingredients.

Qualifications
  • Proficiency in Indian Cuisine, with experience preparing and presenting traditional Indian dishes
  • Strong knowledge in hygiene standards and health guidelines for food preparation
  • Experience in kitchen operations, staff management, and inventory control
  • Capability to develop new menu items with a focus on sustainable and seasonal ingredients
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills
  • Ability to thrive in a high-pressure environment
  • Culinary degree or relevant certification in culinary arts
  • Previous experience in a similar role at a reputable restaurant or hotel
