Job Summary
Our Demand Planners play a key role in ensuring we generate a demand plan for our regional performance units (PUs), to support the PU Sales & Operating Planning (S&OP) process, bringing together our customer requirements and assumptions through very close collaboration with PU Sales teams.
This position requires proven demand planning experience, combining strong statistical modelling skills within our digital planning tool (Kinaxis Maestro) with having the ability to foster positive relationships with Sales and Marketing in the markets to create a robust Demand Plan.
A core focus of the role is to
lead, coach, and develop a team of Demand Planners, strengthening analytical capabilities, driving process consistency, and instilling strong forecasting discipline. Through effective leadership and cross functional collaboration, the Demand Lead ensures the delivery of high-quality demand signals that support continuous improvement in planning performance.

Job Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Capability Development
- Lead, coach, and develop the Demand Planning team to deliver high quality forecasts and insights.
- Set clear priorities, guide complex planning scenarios, and build forecasting and analytical capability.
- Drive consistent ways of working and adoption of best practice methodologies.
Demand & Supply Alignment
- Consolidate statistical forecasts and market intelligence into a robust demand plan.
- Align closely with Supply Planning on capacity, constraints, and service impacts.
- Ensure cross functional alignment of demand assumptions across Sales, Marketing, Supply, and Finance.
Cross Functional Collaboration
- Collaborate with Sales and Marketing and the Supply team to drive alignment on assumptions, risks, and priorities to support an integrated business plan.
Systems, Analytics & Process Excellence
- Champion effective use of planning systems (e.g., Kinaxis Maestro).
- Lead continuous improvement in forecasting, analytics, and S&OP processes.
- Ensure data integrity, consistent analysis, and clear communication of insights.
Strategic Contribution
- Support medium- and long-term business planning with forward looking insights and scenarios.
- Influence strategic and financial decisions through demand driven analysis.
- Contribute to the evolution of the S&OP process and planning operating model.
Job Qualifications
- Proven experience of 12-15 years in Demand Planning and S&OP, ideally in a regional or multimarket context.
- Strong command of statistical forecasting techniques and planning best practices.
- Handson experience with digital planning tools, preferably Kinaxis Maestro.
- Demonstrated leadership capability with experience managing or developing planning teams.
- Excellent management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Operations.
- Strong analytical attitude with the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights. High proficiency in Excel and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
- Strong communication skillsclear, structured, and confident in steering crossfunctional discussions.
Education
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Statistics, or a related field (Master's preferred).
- Experience within FMCG, consumer goods, or similarly fastpaced, datadriven industries.
- Familiarity with S&OP governance frameworks and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Ability to thrive in a matrix organization with multiple team members across countries and functions!
