Role Overview
We are seeking a seasoned Cyber Delivery Manager with a strong background in the BFSI sector and consulting experience. This pivotal role involves overseeing the end-to-end delivery of cybersecurity projects, ensuring alignment with client objectives, and driving continuous improvement in service offerings.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership: Lead and manage cybersecurity delivery projects for BFSI clients, ensuring alignment with business objectives and regulatory requirements. Should Lead Agile and Scrum processes
- Client Engagement: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, building and maintaining strong relationships to understand their cybersecurity needs and challenges.
- Project Oversight: Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of cybersecurity initiatives, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. Should have handled issue IAM incident triaging and manage escalations
- Team Management: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of cybersecurity professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture. Has managed large projects on IAM and Password Rotation.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks associated with cybersecurity projects, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
- Continuous Improvement: Drive the continuous improvement of cybersecurity service delivery processes, implementing best practices and lessons learned.
- Business Development: Support business development activities by identifying new opportunities, preparing proposals, and participating in client presentations.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 12 years in cybersecurity, with at least 5 years in a delivery management role within the BFSI sector.
- Consulting Background: Proven experience in a consulting environment, demonstrating the ability to manage client relationships and deliver complex projects.
- Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, frameworks, and technologies relevant to the BFSI industry.
- Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams, managing multiple stakeholders and priorities.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex cybersecurity concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Certifications: Relevant cybersecurity certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CISA, CRISC, GIAC, CEH) are highly desirable.
Preferred Skills
- Identity & Access Management (IAM): Expertise in IAM solutions such as SailPoint, CyberArk, Hashicorp, Delinea and Microsoft Entra ID/AD.
- Privileged Access Management (PAM): In-depth knowledge of PAM tools and best practices.
- Data Loss Prevention (DLP): Experience implementing DLP strategies and solutions.
- Generative AI (GenAI): Familiarity with the application of GenAI in cybersecurity contexts.
- Detection & Response: Proficiency in Security Information and Event Management (SIEM), Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR), and Threat Detection and Response (TDR) platforms.
- Cloud Security: Experience with cloud security platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Regulatory Compliance: Familiarity with regulatory and compliance frameworks (GDPR, HIPAA, SOC 2, etc.).
- Security Tools: Expertise in security tools such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls, vulnerability scanners, and endpoint protection platforms.
- Methodologies: Proficiency in Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies (SAFe or similar).
- Project Management: Experience in managing complex IT projects, including security transformation programs.
- Agentic AI: Understanding of autonomous AI systems capable of performing tasks with minimal human intervention, enhancing efficiency and decision-making in cybersecurity operations.
