Job Description
Delivery Manager
Projects are promised to clients before anyone has checked capacity, and delivery teams find out the commitment late. Projects are product rollouts for schools and colleges, with hard deadlines around the academic calendar.
A sixty-person ed-tech company selling to schools and colleges, hiring for its delivery office. The team is small enough that everyone knows what everyone else is working on. The company has partnered with Flexiple, a managed marketplace that helps global companies build strong teams in India. The role is remote, open across India.
The manager owns delivery of client commitments, balancing scope, people and timelines across several active projects. You would be running several client projects at once, keeping teams on plan and clients informed. The brief is wider than the title suggests, and the first few weeks are about learning how things currently work before changing them.
What we are looking for:
- 7 to 12 years in delivery or programme management
- Experience delivering client projects and leading project managers
- Strong planning, estimation and stakeholder skills
- Comfort with project tools and delivery reporting
- Calm handling of escalations
Screening call, case exercise, two conversations with leadership, final fit chat. One application is enough; it is also considered for similar roles we are hiring for.
