Role Overview
We are looking for a highly capable Delivery Lead to oversee the end-to-end delivery of custom IT and digital solutions. The ideal candidate has strong leadership experience, handson delivery management skills, and a proven track record of managing cross-functional teams while ensuring quality, timeline, and value realization.
This role requires a blend of project management excellence, technical delivery understanding, and the ability to drive outcomes that align with business goals.
Key Responsibilities
End-to-End Delivery Management
- Lead the full delivery lifecycle from concept, initiation, planning, execution, release, and go-live.
- Manage and guide teams of 10+ members, ensuring strong collaboration across engineering, QA, design, and business teams.
- Ensure all deliverables meet expected quality, timelines, and compliance standards.
Project Governance & Execution
- Drive effort estimation, project planning, backlog prioritization, sprint planning, and release management.
- Identify, manage, and mitigate delivery risks and issues proactively.
- Oversee project initiation activities and ensure readiness for go-live.
- Monitor delivery metrics, track progress, and ensure transparency across stakeholders.
Stakeholder Management
- Work closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements, dependencies, and desired outcomes.
- Communicate delivery status, project risks, and progress updates clearly and consistently.
- Build strong relationships with cross-functional teams and external partners/vendors (if applicable).
Technical Delivery Oversight
- Lead delivery of solutions built on a custom web application or data application technology stack.
- Collaborate with tech leads and architects to ensure delivery aligns with technical design and standards.
- Ensure smooth transition from development to operations post golive.
Business Value & Outcome Management
- Understand business case, expected ROI, and success metrics.
- Ensure that delivered solutions enable measurable business value and strategic outcomes.
- Support teams in optimizing effort vs. value through prioritization and decision-making.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- 8+ years of experience delivering IT/digital solutions, including at least 2 years leading end-to-end delivery.
- Proven experience managing medium to large teams (10+ members).
- Practical experience in modern delivery methodologies (Agile/Scrum/Hybrid).
- Strong competence in planning, estimation, resource management, and release governance.
- Experience handling project initiation and go-live at least once.
- Experience delivering solutions in custom web or data application environments.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Skills
- Certifications like PMP, CSM, SAFe, or equivalent.
- Experience working in a distributed or global delivery environment.
- Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP).
