Note: IT placements are currently more competitive. Placement officers should:
- Understand job requirements thoroughly.
- Ensure students acquire industry-relevant skills.
- Assist students in building strong resumes and professional portfolios.
Execution Plan
- Conduct 2–3 placement drives per week across various sectors.
- Target 500+ placements within 3–4 months.
- Maintain a 70–75% conversion rate from interviews to job offers.
Networking & Employer Tie-ups
- Build company connections through job portals: Google, Indeed, Naukri, LinkedIn.
- Schedule weekly company visits for direct engagement.
- Connect with hiring managers via email, phone, or LinkedIn.
- Share suitable student profiles based on job requirements.
Reports & Documentation
- Maintain a detailed placement tracker using Google Sheets.
- Track interview participation, status, and outcomes for each student.

- Share daily job updates, interview schedules, and results.
- Follow up personally with students who missed placement drives.

- Joining Process
- Collect and verify student documents.
- Explain offer letters (salary, probation, rules).
- Guide students on background verification (ID, PAN, Aadhaar, educational certificates).
- Post-Placement Follow-up
- Conduct check-ins with students and HR during the first 30–60 days.
- Assist in resolving challenges such as work pressure, cultural adaptation, or transport issues.
- Collect feedback to improve the placement process.
- Ensure 80%+ retention of placed students.
