Role Overview
The Dean – School of Management is responsible for providing strategic, academic, and administrative leadership to the School of Management. The role involves driving academic excellence, research output, industry integration, faculty development, and global positioning of the school. The Dean will act as a key member of the university's leadership team and contribute to institutional growth, reputation, and innovation.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute the school's strategic vision and growth roadmap
- Oversee curriculum development aligned with industry trends
- Lead faculty hiring, development, and research performance
- Drive research, publications, and funded projects
- Build strong industry partnerships for placements, live projects, and executive education
- Ensure high student outcomes, experience, and employability
- Lead accreditation processes (AACSB, NAAC, NBA, etc.)
- Manage budgets, resources, and operational efficiency
- Strengthen global collaborations and partnerships
Qualifications & Experience
- Ph.D. in Management or related field
- 15+ years in academia with 5+ years in leadership roles (Dean/Director/HOD)
- Strong track record in research, academic administration, and industry engagement
