As an entry-level individual contributor, a Data Engineering Analyst is ready to apply the knowledge acquired via an advanced education and to start to develop professional skills with the help of a manager and more experienced team members. The role is part of a Corporate Analytics Platform team responsible for supporting data and analytics solutions for MMC Corporate Functions. This role will collaborate with the analytics team to design and implement data strategy, ensuring reliable data infrastructure and creating data solutions for variety of business use cases.
Job Profile Description
- Creates and maintains highly scalable data pipelines across Azure Data Lake Storage, and Azure Data Factory, Databricks and Apache Spark/Scala.
- Proficient in SQL, Python and awareness about AI capabilities.
- Responsible for managing a growing cloud-based data ecosystem and the reliability of our corporate data lake and analytics data mart.
- Contributes to the continued evolution of Corporate Analytics Platform and Integrated data model.
- Be part of the Data Engineering team in all phases of work including analysis, design and architecture to develop and implement cutting-edge solutions.
- Influences changes outside of the team that continuously shape and improve the Data strategy.
- Develop data acquisition and ingestion processes.
- Identify automation opportunities through data analysis, advanced data modeling and optimizations.
- Collaborates with Azure Cloud Architects and Data Platform Engineers on enterprise solutions
