Job Description

Order fulfillment is accomplished by processing multiple types of EDI feeds from customers, suppliers and delivery centers.

Processing of EDI messages includes the following tasks.

  • Process Inbound 850 feeds from customers
  • Send outbound 855 feeds to customers
  • Send 997 acknowledgement messages to customers
  • Route certain EDI messages to an external processing system
  • Route Excel/csv/text messages to a File Portal system
  • Route some Non EDI- messages to external/internal servers.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor issues in the EDI ( Electronic Data Interchange ) Order Fulfillment process implemented using Informatica B2B suite of products that is comprised of Data Exchange (DX), PowerCenter (PC) & Data Transformation (DT) tools.
  • Identify any potential issues and provide code enhancements if required
  • Collaborate with the Business Users, Trading Partners and Suppliers for any issues / requirements
  • Onboard new Partners to the EDI platform as per requirements
  • Setup and test AS2/ SFTP connectivity with the Trading Partners in Informatica MFT.

Qualifications

  • Should have proficiency in developing Informatica PowerCenter mapping especially with Unstructed Data Transformation
  • Should have experience in Onboarding Partners in Informatica B2B Data Exchange
  • Should have experience in setting up for AS2 , SFTP connections in Informatica Managed File Transfer
  • Should have understanding of the EDI-X12 and EDIFACT message formats such as 850,855,860,865,940,945,856,810,753,754,214,315 used as part of the order fulfillment process.
  • Good to have understanding of AWS Transfer Family and GLUE.
