Job Description
In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- System Setup and Virtual controller setup for testing purpose
- Preparation of IO list & Device List from Native Control System backup / Wiring Diagram
- Functions grouping distribution in IO list.
- Extraction of graphics dynamization related information from Native Control System
- Use of DBID tool for Creation / modification of Ovation Database
- Extensively use various Productivity tools such as Audit Tool, Database Productivity Tool, Ovation Excel Tool, Device builder etc.
- Design /Implementation of controls from SAMA / Functional diagrams / Narratives / Third Party DCS / PLC
- Design / Implementation of graphics from sketches / snapshots / P&ID
- Alarms groups configuration
- Support Ovation upgrade projects (Windows / AutoCAD & Solaris)
- Implementation of Simulation logics for First- Pass / Process Test
- Support KOM, DRM / FAT/ Site commissioning activities
- Follow Department Quality processes and procedures.
- In-house Ovation Server / Workstation Installation & Troubleshooting
- Ensure task completion follows the engineering delivery standard & budget.
For This Role, You Will Need:
- 3- 7 years of experience in DCS engineering, site commissioning / process industry preferably in power plant
- Knowledge of Power Plant Process
- Knowledge of SAMA / Functional diagrams / Narratives / Third Party DCS / PLC and P&IDs
- Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Visio)
- Knowledge of Third-Party Communication Protocols
- Knowledge of DCS / PLC HW structure
- Tie-Back / Process Simulation, Testing & Troubleshooting
- Design Review Meeting (DRM) / Factory Acceptance Test (FAT)
- DCS / PLC site Commissioning & Troubleshooting
Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
- Bachelor's or Masters Degree in Electronics/Electrical/Instrumentation/Power Engineering
