Roles & Responsibilities:
- Install, implement, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair systems including VMware/Vcloud, Vcenter Operations, Suse Linux, Unix/Linux/Windows Servers, desktops, printers, and peripherals
- Provide both on-site and remote support for IT infrastructure
- Act as liaison with customers for both administrative and technical issues
- Offer technical support and perform incident management via service desk
- Review and troubleshoot operational quality of desktops, notebooks, and peripherals (Ubuntu, Windows 7/10, Mac OS)
- Perform hands-on server and data center tasks (Windows, VMware, Vcloud, backups, system admin)
Preferred Candidate Profile:
- 58 years of experience in Unix/Linux/Windows Servers, Storage, Cloud, VMware, and End User Computing
- Prior experience in team leadership roles
- Strong communication and business relationship skills
- Excellent troubleshooting capabilities
- A+ Certification or equivalent
- Strong understanding of server/desktop/network fundamentals, upgrades, and tools
- Familiar with analytical and technical PC support tasks
Skills:
- VCLOUD, Linux, SUSE Linux, Unix, Ubuntu, Wintel
- MCP, MCSE, CNE, or Network+ certifications
- Experience with ticketing systems (e.g., v2/v3)
- Asset management
- ITIL v3 Foundations certification
