The Digital Business and Transformation (DBAT) team builds new end-to-end customer propositions with an ambition of delivering new age financial services directly to the customers. The DBAT team has invested in digital capabilities that include building the bank's own engineering team, adapting new age engineering practices and building an API centric architecture to improve customer experience, employee experience and efficiencies
About the Role
The Lead - Website, SEO & Content Strategy will own and drive the bank's long term organic growth and engagement engine, with responsibility for building a future ready website and content led digital brand that delivers sustained customer engagement and organic business.
The role will lead the integrated ecosystem of website, SEO, and content (including social platforms), ensuring the website functions as the primary engagement and conversion hub, while content and SEO consistently position the bank as a trusted, credible, and differentiated voice across key customer segments.
The incumbent will lead a multi disciplinary team and work closely with senior stakeholders across product, marketing, digital, and business teams to align content and website strategy with long term brand and acquisition goals.
Key Responsibilities
Website, Content & SEO Strategy
.Define and execute the long term website, content, and SEO strategy aligned to business objectives and customer needs
.Establish clear content themes, narratives, and journeys that build engagement, trust, and organic consideration over time
.Own the website as a core content and conversion platform, driving improvements across experience, engagement, traffic quality, and conversions
.Ensure strong integration between content planning, SEO intelligence, and user intent across the funnel, keeping the changing consumption pattern in mind
Content Led Brand Building & Distribution
.Build a content led brand approach focused on insight, relevance, and consistency rather than short term campaigns
.Oversee creation and governance of high quality content across formats, ensuring brand alignment, compliance, and user value
.Leverage owned social platforms to deepen engagement and reinforce brand narratives
.Use paid amplification selectively to scale high value content, improve discovery, and support organic growth objectives
Performance, Analytics & Optimization
.Track and improve performance across engagement, organic traffic, rankings, and conversions, with clear linkage to business outcomes
.Use data, experimentation, and competitive insights to continuously refine website, content, and SEO strategy
.Drive adoption of CMS, analytics, content intelligence, and SEO tools to improve effectiveness and scale
Leadership & Governance
.Lead, mentor, and scale a high performing team across website, content, SEO, and allied capabilities
.Act as a strategic partner to senior leadership on content led growth and digital brand building
.Ensure strong governance, compliance, and quality standards across all digital content and platforms
Qualifications
.Bachelor's or Postgraduate degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related fields
.12-15+ years of experience across website management, content strategy, and SEO
.Proven track record of building websites, scaled content and organic growth programs
.Strong understanding of CMS platforms, analytics tools, SEO frameworks, and content distribution
.Exposure to AI, automation, or tech enabled content/SEO solutions is a plus
