DBA / Database Security Technical Lead

Essential Requirements (Must-Have)

B.Tech in Computer Science or equivalent.

Specialised experience with diverse RDBMS technologies (including Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server, and DB2).

Deep technical knowledge of the Linux operating environment.

Strong SQL development, query analysis, and manipulation skills.

Expert proficiency in regular expressions (RegEx) for data pattern matching and analysis.

Solid background in Information Security principles and risk assessment methodologies.

Knowledge and understanding of REST API principles.

Basic understanding of major cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).

Highly Desirable Skills (Advantageous)

Proven experience implementing security regulations based on DISA/CIS Benchmarks.

Experience with various regulatory compliance standards (PCI, SOX, GDPR, FISMA, HIPAA).

Experience with database maintenance tasks (performance tuning, backups, user management, audit configuration, patching).

Experience with scripting languages like Golang and/or Python.

Proven experience with shell scripting in Windows and Linux (batch, bash).

Experience with Big Data and NoSQL platforms (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra, Hadoop).

Knowledge of CI/CD tools and processes in a security context.
