As part of the Infrastructure and Cloud Services (ICS) team, you will be providing engineering and operational database administration support to a variety of platforms and business lines. May require knowledge of multiple database management systems on one or more operating systems. Primary duties include creating new database solutions, database software installation, upgrade/patching, performance tuning, troubleshooting, database migrations, and creation and support of application databases.
#What You'll Do:
- Deliver top-tier support and service to clients.
- Provide detailed updates and escalate issues as needed.
- Design, implement, and maintain database infrastructure.
- Support performance tuning, backups, and data replication.
- Participate in disaster recovery and on-call support.
#What You'll Need:
- 7+ years with DB2 LUW and RHEL.
- Experience with IBM IIDR or similar replication tools.
- Strong scripting (Bash, Python, etc.) and automation (Ansible) skills.
- Excellent communication and project management abilities.
#Nice to Have:
Experience with DB2 migrations, banking, and RHEL clustering.
