Job Overview
We are looking for a skilled
Database Developer with strong expertise in
PL/SQL who can quickly understand the existing Validata codebase and contribute effectively within a short time. Prior experience in the
Life Sciences domainincluding areas such as Contracts, Plans, Products, and Pharmacy Masteris an added advantage but not mandatory.
Key Responsibilities
- Understand, analyze, and enhance existing PL/SQL code within the Validata platform.
- Develop and optimize stored procedures, functions, views, cursors, and temporary table operations.
- Perform debugging, troubleshooting, and performance tuning of database components.
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams for requirement understanding and solution design.
- Ensure high-quality coding standards, modularity, and maintainability in all deliverables.

Performance Tuning
- Modularity improvements
- Index and partition optimization
- Query tuning, execution plans, and hints
- Efficient exception handling
Good to Have
- Experience with any Unit Testing (UT) framework for PL/SQL
Preferred Experience
- 4 to 5 years of hands-on experience in PL/SQL development
- Exposure to Life Sciences domain (optional but beneficial)
