We are seeking a skilled Datacom / WiFi Test Engineer to join our dynamic team in India. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in testing and validating wireless communication systems, ensuring the highest quality and performance of our products.
Responsibilities
- Design and execute test plans for Datacom and WiFi products.
- Analyze and troubleshoot issues related to wireless communication protocols.
- Conduct performance and stress testing on WiFi networks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality and compliance.
- Document test results and prepare reports for stakeholders.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in wireless technology.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or related field.
- 4-10 years of experience in testing and validating Datacom and WiFi equipment.
- Strong understanding of networking concepts and protocols (TCP/IP, UDP, DHCP, etc.).
- Experience with WiFi standards (802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax) and tools for performance testing.
- Proficiency in using network analysis tools and test equipment (e.g., Wireshark, IxChariot).
- Familiarity with scripting languages (Python, Bash) for automation of testing processes.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
