Description

We are seeking an experienced Datacom Tester to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in testing datacom systems and be proficient in various testing methodologies. This role is crucial in ensuring the quality and performance of our networking products.

Responsibilities

Design and execute test plans for datacom systems.
Perform functional, regression, and performance testing of datacom products.
Identify, record, and track bugs and issues throughout the testing lifecycle.
Collaborate with development and product teams to ensure quality standards are met.
Analyze test results and generate reports to communicate findings to stakeholders.
Participate in code reviews and design discussions to ensure quality from the outset.

Skills and Qualifications

4-10 years of experience in datacom testing or related field.
Strong understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, MPLS, etc.).
Proficiency in testing tools and methodologies.
Experience with automation testing frameworks and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Shell).
Familiarity with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
