Must-Have Skills & Responsibilities:
- Hands-on experience with fiber, copper, and power cabling, including installation, testing, and troubleshooting (OTDR, LSPM, BER, OSA, MPO fibers).
- Server, storage, and network device provisioning and troubleshooting (physical and virtual), including Linux/CLI interfaces.
- Experience with rack & stack, IMAC, break-fix activities, and low-voltage electrical systems (AC/DC power).
- Knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, routers, switches, firewalls, SAN fabric, VPN).
- Ability to identify and replace defective components, perform functional testing, and maintain documentation in IT ticketing systems.
- Familiarity with ITIL processes, SLAs, and backup/recovery best practices.
- Willingness to support multiple sites, travel as needed, and work on a 24x7 basis.
Qualifications:
- BSc in Computer Science, Electronics, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Certifications such as CCNA, Network+, CCNP, CCDP, CCIE preferred; fiber testing certification and strong communication skills in English are a plus.
