Role Overview
IndiaIT360 is seeking a detail-driven and analytical Database Manager to own, manage, and optimize our large-scale B2B databases across CIOs, CISOs, Channel Partners, Startups, and Enterprise decision-makers. This role is critical to ensuring data accuracy, actionable insights, and research-led segmentation that powers our ABM campaigns, events, and community platforms.
The ideal candidate is research-oriented, has strong hands-on experience with data mining tools, and can translate raw data into meaningful insights for business and marketing teams.
Key Responsibilities
Database Management & Governance
- Own end-to-end database management for IndiaIT360's B2B ecosystem (CXOs, SI partners, OEMs, startups).
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, deduplication, enrichment, and hygiene across platforms.
- Define and implement data governance, validation rules, and quality benchmarks.
Data Mining & Research
- Use data mining tools to extract, clean, enrich, and structure large datasets.
- Conduct secondary research to validate company profiles, designations, industry verticals, and firmographics.
- Build and maintain industry-wise, technology-wise, and persona-based datasets.
Analytics & Insights
- Analyze datasets to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for campaigns, events, and ABM programs.
- Create segmentation logic for target accounts, personas, and industries.
- Support leadership with actionable insights, dashboards, and reports.
Campaign & Business Support
- Work closely with marketing, growth, sales, and community teams to support:
- ABM campaigns
- Event targeting & attendee profiling
- Partner & OEM outreach programs
- Provide clean, ready-to-use datasets for CRM, email, WhatsApp, and app-based campaigns.
Process & Automation
- Identify opportunities to automate data collection, cleaning, and reporting processes.
- Collaborate with tech teams on CRM, marketing automation tools, and internal dashboards.
Required Skills & Competencies
Technical & Analytical Skills
- Strong working knowledge of data mining tools and techniques.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets (formulas, pivots, data validation).
- Hands-on experience with CRM systems and database tools.
- Ability to analyze large datasets and derive insights.
Research Orientation
- Strong secondary research skills (company profiling, industry mapping, technology tagging).
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to validate and cross-check data from multiple sources.
Business & Collaboration
- Understanding of B2B marketing, ABM, and lead segmentation.
- Ability to translate business requirements into data structures.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Analytics, Business Analytics, IT, Statistics, Management, or related fields.
- 36 years of experience in database management, analytics, or research roles.
- Experience in B2B, Martech, Media, IT, or Technology ecosystems is a strong plus.
