Job Description

Role Overview

We are building one of the most powerful buyer intelligence platforms for the global beverage and CPG industry. This role is core to that mission. Your primary responsibility is to build, expand, and maintain high-quality buyer and company data inside CPGBuyerAI. This is not a passive data entry role — you will create structured, accurate, and commercially valuable data that helps sales teams win distribution.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Data Building & Expansion: Add new companies such as importers, distributors, retailers, on-trade buyers, and chains. Input key details including company profile, location, business type, website, and verification sources. Expand database across key markets like USA, UK, and Asia.
  2. Data Structuring & Standardization: Follow internal data formats and structure. Categorize companies correctly based on business type, size, geography, and procurement model. Maintain consistency across all records.
  3. Data Quality & Validation: Verify accuracy using reliable sources. Clean duplicate or incomplete data. Maintain high data quality standards.
  4. Contact & Buyer Intelligence: Add key decision-makers such as buyers, category managers, beverage directors, and procurement heads. Link contacts correctly to companies. Support enrichment including roles, seniority, and contact details.
  5. Research & Data Discovery: Find new companies using Google, LinkedIn, company websites, trade show exhibitor lists, and industry directories. Identify high-potential buyers aligned with product categories.
  6. Support AI Data Layer: Help improve buyer fit, category mapping, and opportunity sizing. Work with product and operations teams to improve data logic.

What Success Looks Like

A clean, structured, and reliable database that sales teams trust. Consistent addition of verified companies and contacts. No duplicates and standardized data across records. Strong coverage across markets and channels. Data that directly improves buyer matching and sales outcomes.

Requirements

1–3 years experience in data entry, research, or database-related work. Strong attention to detail. Ability to research and verify information independently. Comfortable working with spreadsheets or CRM tools. Basic understanding of business types such as retail, distribution, and HoReCa.

Nice to Have

Experience with LinkedIn, Apollo, ZoomInfo, or similar tools. Knowledge of wine, spirits, or CPG industry. Experience working with structured datasets.
