Database Engineer

Role: DBA-PostgreSQL

Location: Hybrid Pune

Duration: Fulltime

Mandatory skills:

1 Build engineering solutions for migration and upgrade of PostgreSQL On-Prem, Azure Single to Flex, Azure AVS/Azure Migrate (Versions 14, 15, 17)

2. Provide engineering services, collaborating with our Transformational IT Team and Application migration teams on database migrations, ensuring alignment with customer application migration and strategic plan insights.

3. Demonstrate strong technical skills with deep understanding of PostgreSQL

4.Develop automation using Shell scripting, Perl, and Python

5.Build GitLab CI/CD pipelines for automation.

6.Create and maintain detailed documentation, including implementation plans and SOPs hosted on Confluence

7.Contribute expertise to the management of existing and new IT database products and services, define workarounds for known issues, and initiate process improvements

8.Work within SDLC, agile methodologies, and change management processes, adapting to evolving business requirements.
