Duties
Oracle EBS administrator provides 8*5 support for Oracle EBS Landscape – EBS 12.2, Oracle 19C & WebLogic environments based out of Gurgaon (India) & San José (Costa Rica), working with stakeholders/vendors, troubleshooting operational issues. Evaluates critical Oracle ERP tiers security issues (content, internal controls, access levels, etc.) and makes recommendations, such as infrastructure & application patching, upgrades to new versions or successor releases.
Working directly with customers globally, resolving Oracle EBS environment-related escalated issues. Recommends changes, engineered solutions, and participates in the implementation. Reviews, develops, recommends, enforces, and adheres to Oracle ERP. Should be open to develop, adapt & deliver in the upcoming cloud database technologies as per the changing business requirements Communicates and interacts effectively with internal and external business contacts including, but not limited to, other members of the IT organization, other stakeholders (such as portfolio managers, product owners, technical architect), contractors, and vendors.
Skills
Bachelor or master degree in information technology from an accredited college/university
5+ years of industry experience managing the Oracle EBS R12.2 landscape and having the good exposure in EBS 12.2 upgrade, migration & operational support
Strong understanding of Oracle EBS system architecture with hands-on expertise in system configuration, upgrades, migrations, and patching activities
Experienced in system copies, change management, and performance tuning across Oracle EBS landscapes
Capable of independently monitoring and optimizing system performance, conducting capacity planning, managing resources, ensuring security and compliance, and executing effective backup and recovery strategies
Proficient in managing transport requests and overseeing change management processes across development, quality, and production environments.
Conducts system health monitoring, oversees job scheduling, and performs root cause analysis to address and resolve issues.
Coordinates with vendors for product deployment and troubleshooting with minimal supervision.
Provides operational support for Oracle EBS 12.2, Oracle DB, WebLogic & Oracle IDCS
Designs and maintains user roles and authorizations within Oracle EBS systems,
Manages user provisioning, de-provisioning, and role adjustments as per business requirements
Collaborates with internal audit and compliance teams to ensure alignment with system security standards and policies
Education
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A master's degree in a relevant field is preferred.
