Job Description
We are looking for an experienced
Lead SQL Developer with strong expertise in
Azure Data Factory (ADF) and
database development. The ideal candidate will lead data solution initiatives, optimize database performance, and manage complex data integration workflows across enterprise environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of SQL developers and ensure adherence to best practices.
- Design, develop, and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, triggers, and views.
- Build and maintain data pipelines using Azure Data Factory (ADF) for large-scale data integration.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
- Optimize database performance and troubleshoot complex SQL and ADF issues.
- Implement ETL/ELT workflows and ensure data quality, governance, and consistency.
- Work with Azure SQL Database, SQL Server, and related data services for end-to-end solutions.
- Participate in Agile development cycles and CI/CD implementations for data solutions.
Required Skills
- 1014 years of hands-on experience in SQL Development and Database Architecture.
- Strong proficiency in Azure Data Factory (ADF) and data pipeline orchestration.
- Excellent knowledge of T-SQL programming, query tuning, and performance optimization.
- Solid experience in Azure SQL / SQL Server / Cloud-based Databases.
- Good understanding of ETL/ELT processes, data modeling, and data governance.
- Exposure to Power BI / Azure Synapse / Databricks is an added advantage.
- Strong problem-solving and leadership skills with the ability to guide teams.
