We are looking for a highly qualified Senior Database Administrator (DBA) to direct and optimize mission-critical database systems assisting our global products and platforms. This role will work closely with Engineering, DevOps, and Platform teams to ensure high availability, performance, security, and reliability of database systems across production and non-production environments

What You Will Be Doing
- Install, configure and maintain database systems across production and non-production environments.
- Administer and optimize databases including Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, and MongoDB.
- Monitor database performance, identify bottlenecks, and perform performance tuning and query optimization.
- Design and maintain high availability, replication, clustering, and disaster recovery solutions.
- Oversee database backups, restores, and data recovery strategies to ensure business continuity.
- Collaborate with engineering teams on database schema design, indexing strategies, and query performance improvements
- Implement and maintain database security policies, access controls, and compliance requirements.
- Automate routine database tasks and operational processes using scripting and automation tools.
- Participate in incident feedback, troubleshooting, and root cause evaluation related to database systems
- Hands-on experience with Linux and/or Windows server environments.
- Strong scripting using PowerShell, Bash, or Python for automation.
- Experience with database monitoring, capacity planning, and performance analysis tools.

What we are looking for from you:
- Exposure to modern databases such as PostgreSQL, Redis/Aerospike or Elasticsearch.
- Experience with cloud platforms and directed database services
- Familiarity with containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes).
