Oracle and AWS RDS DBA with 3+ years of experience in database administration in Production environment.
Primary Skills: Oracle DBA and AWS RDS DBA
Secondary skill: At least one of PostgreSQL or MySQL or MongoDB and Automation using Shell scripts, Jenkins, Python etc.
Experienced in installation of Oracle databases
Experienced in RAC database installation / troubleshooting / backup / restore/ standby.
Experienced in creating standby database (from the scratch).
Experienced in Oracle database upgradation
Experienced in Oracle database patching.
Working experience in performance tuning with tools like (OEM, AWR, ADDM, ASH, SQL tuning advisor, SQL access advisor, SQL profile, SQL baseline, resource management).
Experienced in AWS RDS, EC2, s3, instance migration/upgradation, RDS snapshot/cloning/restoration.
Knowledge in AWS VPC, security, DMS.
Experienced in Data pump, RMAN clone, Transportable tablespace.
Experienced in Linux and Windows operating system.
Experienced in Schema management / Tablespace management.
Strong communication and customer handling skills.
Strong understanding ITIL processes.
Knowledge of JIRA would be added plus.
