Summary: As a Database Administrator, you will design, implement, and maintain databases to ensure optimal performance and reliability. Your typical day will involve installing database management systems, developing procedures for daily maintenance, and resolving any issues that arise, all while collaborating with various teams to enhance database functionality and security. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be an SME. - Collaborate and manage the team to perform. - Responsible for team decisions. - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. - Expected to provide solutions to problems that apply across multiple teams. - Oversee the implementation of database security measures to protect sensitive data. - Conduct regular performance tuning and optimization of database systems. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Oracle Database Administration. - Strong understanding of database design principles and data modeling. - Experience with backup and recovery strategies for database systems. - Familiarity with performance monitoring tools and techniques. - Knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL for database scripting and automation. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 12 years of experience in Oracle Database Administration. - This position is based at our Bengaluru office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
