Database Administrator

Project Role Description:

• Administer, develop, test, and demonstrate databases across one or more teams or clients.
• Design, implement, and maintain new databases, including backup/recovery and configuration management.
• Install database management systems (DBMS) and provide input to modify procedures and documentation for problem resolution and day-to-day maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Apply strong knowledge of Cloud Data Architecture in database management and design.
• Utilize expertise in Data & AI Solution Architecture and Modern Data Integration (good to have).
• Leverage CPG/Retail industry experience to understand and apply domain-specific requirements.
• Demonstrate deep understanding of Modern Data Engineering Stack.
• Handle Big Data and data streaming environments effectively.
• Design architectural roadmaps and develop rapid Proof of Concepts (POCs).
• Work with SQL, NoSQL, and Graph databases.
• Perform data modeling, including Slowly Changing Dimension (SCD) types and data mining techniques.
• Use unified query engines, ETL tools, and data virtualization technologies.
• Develop systems designed for high-volume transaction applications.
• Passion for data and analytics, using technology to solve business problems.
• Manage and lead teams effectively.
• Communicate clearly with clients and internal teams.
• Willingness to travel to client sites within India as needed.

Educational Qualification:

• Graduation from a reputed College/University is required.

Experience:

• Minimum 10+ years of experience in database administration and related functions.
• Industry experience in CPG, Automotive, Retail, or Manufacturing sectors preferred.
