Job Description

Project Role : Database Administrator

Project Role Description : Design, implement and maintain databases. Install database management systems (DMBS). Develop procedures for day-to-day maintenance and problem resolution.

Must have skills : Oracle Procurement Cloud

Good to have skills : NA

Minimum 7.5 Year(s) Of Experience Is Required

Educational Qualification : 15 years full time education

Summary:

As a Database Administrator, a typical day involves designing, implementing, and maintaining robust database systems to support organizational needs. This role includes installing database management systems and developing comprehensive procedures to ensure smooth daily operations. The position requires continuous monitoring and troubleshooting to resolve issues promptly, ensuring optimal database performance and reliability. Collaboration with various teams to align database solutions with business objectives is also a key aspect of the daily routine, fostering an environment of efficiency and innovation.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
  • Responsible for team decisions.
  • Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
  • Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
  • Lead efforts to optimize database performance and ensure data integrity across projects.
  • Mentor junior team members to support their professional growth and enhance team capabilities.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to align database strategies with organizational goals.

Professional & Technical Skills:

  • Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Oracle Procurement Cloud.
  • Strong knowledge of database installation, configuration, and maintenance processes.
  • Experience in developing and implementing database backup and recovery strategies.
  • Ability to monitor database performance and tune systems for optimal efficiency.
  • Familiarity with security best practices to safeguard sensitive data within database environments.
  • Skilled in troubleshooting and resolving complex database issues in a timely manner.

Additional Information:

  • The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in Oracle Procurement Cloud.
  • This position is based at our Gurugram office.
  • A 15 years full time education is required.
