Assist with intake requests, collaborate with the database engineering team and the database production support team and internal customers to deliver an enterprise-level database backend solution for top-tier applications
Responsible for all aspects of database administration for SQL Server databases including problem solving, configuration, and implementation efforts for large and / or complex projects with an emphasis in operation excellence and continuous improvement of database related processes and procedures
Provide database solutions for organizational needs while working in accordance with internal policies and procedures
Works with project teams to create needed database solutions
Responsible for quality control and auditing of database access to ensure accurate and appropriate use of data
Consults with and advises users on access to and performance of databases
Works directly with users to resolve data conflicts and inappropriate data usage
Responsible for ensuring high levels of data available and database performance
Tunes and optimizes SQL Statements, Instance Parameters, and Data Storage, including the identification of performance related issues
Creates database objects
Participation in the design, creation, and maintenance of SQL databases
