Job Title: Data Warehouse Lead

Our Client is looking for an experienced Senior Data Engineer / Data Architect to design and deliver scalable, modern data platforms using the Microsoft Azure ecosystem.

This role focuses on building lakehouse and cloud data warehouse solutions, enabling advanced analytics, and driving best practices across data engineering, governance, and security. You'll collaborate closely with data, BI, and business teams while providing technical leadership and mentoring.

What You'll Do

Design and implement modern data warehouse and lakehouse architectures using Microsoft Fabric

Integrate enterprise data platforms with Power BI and other BI tools

Automate data pipelines and orchestration workflows

Perform data engineering and analytics using Azure services

Partner with data analysts, BI teams, and business stakeholders to gather and translate requirements

Define data standards, architecture guidelines, and best practices

Lead solutions modeling and data modeling (logical and physical)

Implement data governance, data quality, security, and compliance frameworks

Provide technical mentoring, leadership, and code reviews

Design and implement Medallion architecture patterns

What You'll Bring

8–12+ years of experience in data engineering or data warehousing

Strong hands‑on expertise with Azure Data Factory

Experience working with Microsoft Fabric or modern cloud data platforms

Proven success designing enterprise‑scale data warehouse architectures

Hands‑on experience with data migration using ADF, Azure Synapse, and Microsoft Fabric (Lakehouse & Warehouse)

Advanced T‑SQL skills

Strong expertise in data modeling (Star Schema, Snowflake Schema, Dimensional Modeling)

Experience designing ETL / ELT pipelines

Knowledge of data warehouse performance optimization and tuning

Experience with Power BI or other BI tools (preferred)
