Developing World Markets is seeking a Data Visualization and Reporting Associate to help support rapid growth at this leading, emerging markets impact management firm. The Data Visualization and Reporting Associate will work across DWM's functional teams to provide visualization and reporting solutions. The Associate will be based in India and will work closely with DWM's Finance and Operations, Portfolio Management, Risk, and Debt teams. The Associate will report locally to the Gift City, India office, and assist in the creation of visualizations and ongoing reporting of DWM's current and prospective investments. The Associate role includes working with DWM's Teams to develop and maintain a set of reports that support the investment and portfolio management processes. The description and qualifications are listed below.

Responsibilities:

• The development and maintenance of a set of reports built off DWM's loan database software, and a SQL borrower database (financial and social metrics).
• Assist in the development and upkeep of the firm's financial, credit, and portfolio management reporting framework, and analytical tools.
• Assist with automation of the loan underwriting process and reporting.
• Contribute as an enthusiastic member of the DWM team, taking the lead in various organizational tasks in support of data analysis and visualization.
• In addition to above, flexibility to support other teams as needed.

Required Skills:

• Advanced Excel and Microsoft tools
• Programming skills; SQL; Excel VBA; (Python or NodeJS desired)
• Visualization (Tableau, PowerBI, QlikView etc.)

General Requirements:

• 2-4 years of data visualization and reporting experience
• Basic understanding of credit, including the ability to conduct financial and economic analysis; background in finance and/or economics, preferred
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; specifically, the ability to present and communicate complex analysis to a variety of audiences
• A college degree with strong academic performance, i.e., Data Management and visualization
• Commitment to social and economic development
