PURPOSE:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Analyst to join our Data Analytics Team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in delivering advanced analytics solutions to both internal and external stakeholders, focusing on descriptive and predictive analytics, business intelligence, and data-driven decision-making processes. The role involves working on complex data projects, leveraging data management, visualization, data storytelling, machine learning techniques, and managing large datasets across sources to drive business outcomes.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Data Analysis and Strategy: Develop and execute end-to-end analytics projects focusing on business problems and opportunities. This includes designing data preparation activities, translating business requirements into logical analyses, and facilitating the deployment of data-driven recommendations.

Machine Learning Applications: Utilize machine learning techniques such as regression and recommendation engines to enhance business insights and decision-making processes.

Data Pipeline Management: Design, implement, and manage ETL pipelines to consolidate data from various digital platforms, ensuring data quality and integrity.

Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate complex data insights effectively to senior stakeholders, ensuring clear articulation of analysis outcomes and their business implications.

Technical Leadership: Oversee the integration of Google's recommendation engine API for a B2B marketplace digital platform, focusing on customer segmentation, targeting, and order placement optimization.

Team Collaboration: Provide guidance and support to junior team members, ensuring seamless project execution and knowledge sharing.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Work Experience: 3+ years of experience in Business Intelligence or Data Analytics projects.

Experience in client-facing projects is a plus.

Education Level: Bachelor's degree or postgraduate degree in an analytical area such as Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, or relevant fields with experience in working with data analytics, and Data Science

Travel Requirement: Occasional off-hours work and/or holiday work will be required.

Technical Competencies:

Experience: Minimum of 3+ years in data analytics, with a proven track record of handling large datasets and delivering business insights.

Proficiency in BigQuery, Looker, Vertex AI (GCP), and ETL processes.

Experience with machine learning algorithms would be a plus, particularly regression, recommendation engines, and predictive analytics.

Familiarity with coding languages such as SQL and Python.

Communication Skills: Excellent personal and communication skills to engage effectively with senior stakeholders.

Experience in client-facing projects or working in a multicultural environment.

Familiarity with visualization tools like Google Looker, Looker Studio, and Power BI.
