Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain the overall data architecture strategy aligned with business goals and industry best practices
- Design and implement scalable, high-performance data models, data warehouses, and data integration solutions
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather data requirements and translate them into effective solutions
- Create and manage ETL pipelines for data movement and transformation across systems
- Conduct performance tuning, optimization, and troubleshooting of data systems
- Ensure data security, integrity, and compliance with regulatory standards
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to data engineers and analysts
- Evaluate and recommend modern tools and technologies to strengthen the organization's data capabilities
- Work with cross-functional teams including developers, analysts, and project managers to deliver integrated solutions
- Leverage expertise in cloud and digital transformation, data management, integration, analytics, and security
Required Skill Set and Qualifications:
- 8 to 10 years of experience in data architecture, data modeling, and database design
- Strong leadership skills with experience mentoring junior team members
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven expertise in designing and implementing ETL and data integration solutions
- Hands-on experience with data warehouse platforms such as Snowflake, Amazon Redshift, Google BigQuery
- Experience with programming languages including Python, Scala, R, PHP, Golang, .NET, C#, Shell Scripting, NodeJS
- Expertise in cloud data platforms (CDP), Data Lake/Delta Lake, Databricks/Spark, Snowflake, Hadoop, Kafka, Cassandra, MongoDB, Azure SQL, Redshift, Oracle, MySQL
- Proficiency with Power Query, Power Pivot, PySpark, and Microsoft Fabric
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies: Docker, Kubernetes
- Knowledge of DevOps tools: Git, Ansible, Jenkins, Chef
- Experience with public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and SaaS applications (ADO, Salesforce, Workday, SAP, etc.)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects
