About The Opportunity

Opportunity in the HR Technology & Talent Solutions sector serving enterprise clients across India. We deliver data-driven talent insights, workforce analytics, and automated recruitment solutionshelping businesses hire smarter and faster. This is an on-site Data Scientist role based in India, focused on building production-grade ML models and analytics capabilities for HR and talent platforms.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and validate end-to-end machine learning models for talent scoring, candidate matching, churn prediction, and workforce analytics.
  • Perform feature engineering, data cleaning, and exploratory analysis on large HR datasets to extract actionable signals.
  • Build, test, and deploy scalable production pipelines (training validation deployment) with monitoring for model performance and drift.
  • Collaborate with product, engineering, and analytics teams to translate business problems into measurable ML solutions and KPIs.
  • Implement robust evaluation frameworks including A/B testing, cross-validation, and statistical significance testing to validate models.
  • Document models, maintain reproducible code, and follow engineering best practices (version control, CI/CD, observability).

Skills & Qualifications

Must-Have

  • Proficient in Python for data science workflows and production code.
  • Strong SQL skills for complex data extraction and transformation.
  • Hands-on experience with Scikit-learn and TensorFlow (model building and evaluation).
  • Experience with large-scale data processing using Apache Spark or PySpark.
  • Practical expertise in feature engineering, model evaluation, and A/B testing methodologies.
  • Experience deploying models to production (Docker/REST APIs or cloud ML services) and using Git for version control.

Preferred

  • Familiarity with ML lifecycle tools such as MLflow or Kubeflow.
  • Experience with cloud ML platforms (AWS SageMaker, GCP Vertex AI, or Azure ML).
  • Ability to create dashboards and visualizations using Tableau or Power BI.
