Roles and Responsibilities
- Develop, optimize, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Python or R.
- Work with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or Databricks to process large datasets.
- Build and deploy data solutions and ML workflows on cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Apply NLP, computer vision, or deep learning techniques to solve real-world problems.
- Write efficient SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
- Design and implement machine learning models and perform model training, tuning, and validation.
- Conduct data mining activities to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
- Create meaningful visualizations and dashboards using tools like Tableau, Power BI, matplotlib, seaborn, etc.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into data-driven solutions.
- Ensure data quality, consistency, and security across all datasets and workflows.
- Document processes, data flows, and model performance for future reference and auditing.
- Participate in code reviews, optimize performance, and follow best practices for version control and deployment.
