We are currently looking for a Data Scientist/Senior Data Scientist to maintain, enhance, and further develop our Data Science website algorithms and business insight models. Key Responsibilities
- Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot existing Data Science applications and algorithms deployed on company frameworks.
- Work extensively with platforms such as proprietary Python-based recommendation frameworks, image testing frameworks, Airflow, Databricks, Snowflake, Tableau, Segment, and Confluence.
- Enhance, optimize, and add new features to existing Data Science algorithms.
- Design, develop, and deploy new algorithms while collaborating with DevOps and engineering teams.
- Evaluate, select, and assist in implementing new frameworks; migrate existing algorithms where required.
- Maintain and improve technical documentation for existing systems; create documentation for new frameworks and algorithms.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to identify opportunities where Data Science can add business value.
- Maintain existing KPI data pipelines and develop new pipelines to measure the business impact of algorithms.
Qualification & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in Data Science and DevOps-enabled environments.
- Strong expertise in Python (object-oriented programming, Pandas) and SQL.
- Experience working with large datasets and end-to-end data pipelines.
Nice to Have
- Hands-on experience with Airflow, Databricks, Snowflake, Tableau, Segment, and Confluence.
- Background in retail or e-commerce analytics.
- Familiarity with tools such as JIRA, GitHub, or similar version control and project management platforms.
