Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Data Scientist Marketing Mix Modeling (MMM) to join our growing analytics team. In this role, you will lead and contribute to end-to-end MMM and advanced analytics engagements. You will work closely with business stakeholders to translate complex business problems into analytical frameworks, build robust statistical and machine-learning models, and deliver actionable insights that optimize marketing spend and ROI.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the complete lifecycle of Marketing Mix Modeling engagements, including data preparation, model development, validation, and business recommendations.
  • Design and implement econometric and statistical models such as regression, Bayesian methods, time-series analysis, and hierarchical modeling to measure and forecast marketing effectiveness.
  • Partner with clients and internal stakeholders to understand business objectives, translate them into analytical solutions, and communicate insights clearly and effectively.
  • Mentor and guide junior team members on MMM methodologies, coding best practices, and impactful business storytelling.
  • Drive automation and scalability across modeling workflows and reporting dashboards.
  • Explore and apply advanced methodologiesincluding causal inference and machine learningto enhance traditional MMM approaches.
  • Present insights through compelling visualizations, presentations, and business-focused narratives.

Required Skills and Experience

  • 48 years of experience in advanced analytics, with a strong emphasis on Marketing Mix Modeling.
  • Demonstrated experience leading MMM engagements for global clients across industries such as CPG, Retail, BFSI, and Technology.
  • Strong foundation in statistical and econometric modeling, including regression, time series, and Bayesian techniques.
  • Proficiency in Python and/or R, with hands-on experience in SQL for data extraction and transformation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work on large, complex datasets.
  • Excellent client-facing and consulting experience, including presenting insights to senior stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
