Role Overview:
We are seeking a Data Scientist with strong expertise in operations research to design and implement large-scale optimization pipelines for customer use cases. This role combines technical depth in applied optimization with the ability to understand and collaborate with customers directly.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and deploy optimization models (LP, MIP, heuristics, constraint programming) for complex real-world problems.
- Build scalable optimization pipelines with Gurobi (or similar solvers) and Python.
- Work closely with customers to define problems, gather requirements, and deliver impactful solutions.
- Communicate findings and model outcomes clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Stay current with research in operations research and optimization methods.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in optimization, operations research, or applied data science.
- Strong experience with Gurobi (preferred), CPLEX, or OR-Tools.
- Solid mathematical foundation in optimization and problem-solving.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with customers directly.
- Advanced degree (MS/PhD) in Operations Research, Industrial Eng, Applied Math, or related field.
