Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Scientistto join us. The ideal candidate will have a passion for data, a deep understanding of statistical and machine learning methods, and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights. The candidate will work closely with various business teams to leverage data for improving decision-making and driving innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect, process, and analyze large datasets from various sources to support business objectives and product development.
  • Develop and deploy machine learning models and algorithms to solve complex business problems and improve customer experiences.
  • Perform data exploration and visualization to uncover trends, patterns, and insights.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing and product managers/engineers, and business analysts, to integrate data-driven solutions.
  • Communicate findings and insights to stakeholders through clear and compelling data visualizations and reports.
  • Stay current with the latest advancements in data science, machine learning, AI and industry trends to continuously enhance our data and analytics capabilities.
  • Research and apply multidisciplinary techniques, findings and approaches to solutions driving the business understanding of its market, its internal operations, and its opportunities
  • Review, implement and analyze algorithms that will substantially improve analytics capability of the business

Qualifications:

. Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, statistics, Operations Research, Mathematics, or related discipline

. Minimum 7+ years of hands-on experience in Analytics

. Hands-on experience with Machine Learning libraries and frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, scikit-learn, XGBoost, TensorFlow, or similar).

. Solid understanding of statistical analysis, predictive modeling, clustering, regression, classification, and time-series forecasting.

. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, PySpark, SAS or R.

. Knowledge of SQL and experience with relational databases.

. Familiarity with generative AI, LLMs, or conversational AI platforms (e.g., OpenAI GPT-4, Claude, Cohere, or similar)

. Experience with regression, time series, quantitative, qualitative and statistical methods

. Experience in working on CRM platforms such as SFDC/MS Dynamics will be an added advantage

. Exposure to External databases like DnB, IDC, Gartner, etc. preferred

. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.

. Strong communication skills, with the ability to present complex data and insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.
