Job Nexus India is hiring for its client, 1Stop.ai, for the role of Data Scientist Intern. This internship is designed for students and freshers who are passionate about data science, analytics, and machine learning. Interns will work with real datasets, develop analytical models, and contribute to data-driven business insights.

Role Overview

As a Data Scientist Intern, you will assist in analyzing data, building machine learning models, and creating visualizations that help organizations make better strategic decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and preprocess structured and unstructured datasets
• Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify trends and patterns
• Build and test machine learning models under the guidance of senior data scientists
• Create data visualizations and dashboards to communicate insights effectively
• Work with tools such as Python, SQL, and Excel for data analysis
• Assist in building predictive models and evaluating their performance
• Document processes, code, and results for future reference
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve business problems using data

Eligibility

• Undergraduate or postgraduate students
• Candidates from Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related fields
• Freshers with interest in data science are encouraged to apply

Required Skills

• Basic knowledge of Python or R for data analysis
• Understanding of statistics, probability, and machine learning concepts
• Familiarity with libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib, or Scikit-learn
• Basic knowledge of SQL and data handling
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
• Good communication and documentation skills
