Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Data Scientist / ML Engineer with strong expertise in predictive modeling, experimentation, optimization techniques, and machine learning operations (MLOps). The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Python, SQL, Databricks, MLflow, and data visualization tools, with the ability to translate business problems into analytical solutions and communicate insights effectively to stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build, validate, and deploy predictive models using advanced statistical and machine learning techniques.
- Design and execute A/B tests, controlled experiments, and causal inference studies to support data-driven decision-making.
- Apply mathematical optimization methods (linear, mixed-integer, and multi-objective) to solve complex business problems.
- Develop and maintain robust machine learning workflows using Python, Databricks, and MLflow for tracking experiments and models.
- Implement MLOps practices to automate model deployment, monitoring, versioning, and model lifecycle management.
- Perform large-scale data processing and data integration from multiple sources while ensuring data quality and consistency.
- Conduct statistical analysis and diagnostic checks to validate datasets and analytical outputs.
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications and analytical solutions.
- Create compelling data visualizations and dashboards using Tableau or Power BI to communicate insights and drive decisions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, ensuring strong stakeholder communication and alignment.
- Document analytical processes, model assumptions, KPIs, and results to support data governance and compliance standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong experience in predictive modeling, statistical techniques, and experiment design.
- Hands-on expertise with Python, SQL, Databricks, and large-scale data processing frameworks.
- Knowledge of MLflow and production-grade MLOps workflows.
- Proficiency in A/B testing, experimentation, and optimization algorithms.
- Familiarity with data quality checks, data integration, and pipeline orchestration.
- Experience building dashboards in Tableau or Power BI.
- Strong understanding of Git/GitLab for version control and CI/CD processes.
- Excellent skills in data storytelling, KPI development, and communicating insights to business stakeholders.
- Ability to convert business requirements into structured analytical approaches.
